Holy shit! Did you know that men can't give birth! Hmm.... I wonder why they're arguing about abortion, then!
Listen, when I say I'm pro-abortion, I don't mean I'm for the act, I mean I'm for women having the choice, because it is their choice. I'm pro-pro-choice. I'm pro women having the choice to have an abortion. Now, when I'm the in the situation where I get a chick pregnant and she wants to give up the kid, then I can have a say. But other than that, men should but out. If the kid isn't yours it's not your business.

People can debate over what ever they want regardless of sex.

My point is that men cannot have the proper frame of mind in this subject when we are not personally involved, and even in that dillemma we can only comprehend their own situation.

Logic and Discussion are sexless. While I agree that it is ultimatly a womans choice. I disagree that I have to "butt out".
I think we are really on the same page about this.

No one should should be told to "butt out" of any thread in a chat room. Any thread should be freely open to anyone.

Umm... Freakazoid, my point wasn't to cease thread discussion, but that it simply isn't a man's concern, as we have no place to speak on the subject. Of course, this is my opinion, and as it is a debate I should be trying to reinforce my point.
Anyway, Beelzebub, I can see how one would believe that any topic should be discussed by anyone willing to learn, but I don't think that men cannot fully understand the situation, and without a proper understanding we have no grounds on which to found our argument.

It concerns men because we're equal candidates for being aborted, and we're the ones fighting for the baby's rights.

Meh, if you never lived, you don't know what you're missing! :D
Anyway, if you go by the Christian philosophy, God accepts all children into heaven, so we might be doing them a favor.
And if Buddhists are right they'll got another shot!
Also, we're not "the ones fighting for the baby's rights." Women have a say, too, you know.

What I meant by "we" was pro-lifers. As pro-lifers, men are equally justified as women to compaign since we're equal candidates for being aborted, and since "we" as pro-lifers are the ones campaigning for the baby's rights, it doesn't matter if we're women or not. It's the pro-choice movement that is based on the woman's experience through pregnany and being a mother. So if anything, you just proved that men aren't justified to campaign pro-choice because we have no way of knowing just how bad the "pain" really is, and therefore can't prove that it's in some way worse than the murder of the baby himself.
Nobody knows who goes to Heaven and who doesn't. I honestly can't believe an aborted baby couldn't get into Heaven, but we can't know that for sure. Either way, it doesn't matter. Just because the baby goes to Heaven doesn't justify the murder. Nero killed thousands of Christians. Most of them probably went to Heaven, but that didn't justify Nero either.

I figured you didn't believe in it, but I figured you meant that Christians should be ok with it because the baby would go to Heaven, and that's bullshit.

No, I actually meant nothing by it other than to be a joking ass.

While I do believe that when a woman is considering an abortion the man involved should be allowed to have a say in it, I don't think that anyone (man or woman) should judge that woman based on her decisions. The truth is that while men can be fathers they can never truly say that they have been in the position to consider an abortion so I can't see the point in a man condemning a woman for making a decision not to commit to something she isn't ready to. A woman who has given birth or been pregnant at one point has a slightly better perspective than anyone. So, honestly, when it comes down to it if a man does not have the right to debate abortion then neither to a lot of women, like myself, who haven't had a child. Thankfully it doesn't matter because no matter what both sexes were granted the power of opinion and anyone who wants to share it, will.

Who are you christians to tell us non-belivers, that we shouldn't have abortion? If you don't like it, don't do it, but if we do it, isn't it our problem then?
To some extent perhaps, but every abortion effects society at large. We lose out on athletes, entertainers, doctors, etc.

Not any more than Hitler wasn't our problem. Sure, why should it be our problem if we're not the target?

Or bank robbers, rapist, nazis etc.
Or maybe they never were supposed to become something special at all.
How can you loose something that you never had?

My point were that since that when it's not a problem for the ones that acctually does it, how can it then be a problem for the ones that don't?
And, as an answer on your Hitler argument, the entire world was his target.
