So campaign against the injustice. Protest the blue laws, I disagree with them too. Leave RELIGION the fuck alone.

I distrust many atheists because they are a certain type of people I've found through experience not to be trustworthy, not because they don't believe in God.

This guy's just plain fucking stupid.

And for the last fucking time, being pro-life isn't a fucking Christian belief. It is a humanitarian ideal. Anyone who thinks it's wrong to murder someone is, to an extent, also pro-life.

Not another one of those stupid videos. Is it the same speaker as the last one? Here's a thought... you want "God" taken off coins because you're afraid people will be offended? Then don't force a schoolkid who doesn't believe in evolution to study it and then take a test affirming it's authenticity. Oh, and I also have a solution to atheists whining about not being in the scouts, since it's voluntary to be in the scouts, don't join. Atheists wouldn't want creationists at an atheism gathering, now would they?

don't forget this part, jim....the scouts are a private group...the don't have to allow athiests if undesired on their part...if they were run by a government entity, then they could bitch, but since it's private, they have no say:p

Apperently, a lot of people do agree with them.

So why do you have problems with atheists then? You may have just met the wrong people.

I agree with you on this one. Pro life and religion isn't the same thing.

Possibly. The majority of the atheists on this forum are the exception. But a lot of atheists I've known don't have any problem lying and all that to anyone who isn't also an atheist because they don't think of them as highly as they think of themselves.

So you don't respect them cause they don't respect you? Make sense, but un unfortunally I have to admit that many atheists doesn't respect religions at all. Shame acctually. Still thou, many don't, so you still just met the wrong people.

No, I don't trust them because they don't respect me enough to be honest with me.

Great then. It doesn't outline how I feel, since 40% of Holland is atheistic, but it's still true :D

Why do you focus on the more trivial concerns the video presented?

Do you really think that we should not be allowed to hold public office or sit in a jury? Do you think that it is fair for an institution to receive public funds and discriminate against its members based on religion or sexual orientation?

You don’t see Atheists unifying to blow up buildings and kill people. What does that say about the religious?

You don’t see Atheists unifying to blow up buildings and kill people. What does that say about the religious?

It says that Atheism, along with Buddhism and most of Christianity, is a nonviolent religion.

I do, however, see atheists unifying to condone the wanton murder of millions upon millions of unborn human beings, among a lot of other things that make them not quite as nonviolent as most Christians.

What does it say about the religious? That like any group of people there are going to be a small percentage of dumbasses that everyone associates with the entire group. Since atheists are a small group and don't have any values to rally for, you don't see the crazy ones blowing shit up, but that doesn't mean they aren't still as crazy as Jim "The Kool-Man" Jones.

That would be true if pro-choice people were pro abortion, but they're not.

 If you aren't for allowing the choice for abortion then you arent pro-choice, plain and simple.

The kind of choice that directly interferes with another's basic rights isn't the kind of choice anyone should be entitled to.

Regardless, and as I have said countless thousands of times, neither the means nor the end of any of my arguments against abortion have anything whatsoever to do with choice. My arguments generally entail:

Dispelling lies:
*pro-life is not a proprietary Christian ideal
*fetuses are in fact human, and this can be scientifically proven
*etc

and some other things. At no time since as far back as I can remember have I ever said whether or not it should be illegal or criminalized; it's immaterial to my ends. I grow tired of saying this every time your Australian Ass accuses me of being some kind of tyrant.

Being Pro-Abortion means that you want people to actually have abortions rather than have the choice of abortions.

The way I see it, "pro-abortion" just means you think it should be legal, i.e., you WANT it to be legal.

Not necessarily, if you're for the legalization of abortion then you're for abortion. If you weren't pro-abortion, you wouldn't care.
