There's that little part of the brain that overhears someone whistle two notes of "She'll Be Comin' 'Round the Mountain When She Comes" and automatically fills in the rest. For the next day, 90% of the brain is entirely devoted to replaying that song OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER until the remaining 10% of the brain has decided to throw your body in front of a speeding furniture van.

Therefore, in the spirit of devil's advocacy, music is not good.
