I don't know a lot about cars, but I know how to appreciate their aesthetics. Why the hell do people drive these ugly fucking douchecars?

This really isn't even the worst of it.

Some people will just go out of their way to be different. I think it might have something to do with the direction art has gone in the past decade. It seems that anything can pass as GOOD art nowadays. At my university there are countless paintings of a bunch of UGLY colors just splashed all over a canvas with no rhyme or reason to them. Somehow people see this as good art, and these cars are then made in that image to attract that kind of person - looking for the new and unusual.

I could see a caterer, florist using this for delivery. Sure it's ugly but VERY functional.

I have no concept what drives people to get these abominations.
Look at me, I'm saving the environment! What do I get for it?
A vehicle that is as repugnant a barrel of unwiped smashed assholes.
Thank God this technology is finally being used in "mainstream" designs.

Practicality perhaps?
The Honda pictured is probably the best alternative to a minivan out there. I got an SUV because we didn't want a minivan, or another wagon. Had this thing been available, I would have looked at it. It has all the features of my truck, without the shitty mileage.
What kind of douch car do you drive?

I actually kind of like these cars...not because of the gas mileage or that I feel like I'm helping the enviroment...I'm just attracted to these cars...however a dude driving a car like this is definitley not attactive...but I would drive one...anything beats the 1990 peice of shit Celica that I drive!

Oh, except that it's made of plastic. (Most "trucks" these days are, too, so that kind of negates my argument) My lawnmower probably has a more powerful engine than an Element, too. I'm sure they have plenty of room for fudge-packing in the back seat, though.

Oh wait does that bother you? Does it bother you that someone is saying you're courting me? HMM? Just playing with you...and I don't like the word courting!
Oh and no...we will lie to the kids just like my parents lied to me...:)

Doesn't bother me at all. BzBub just likes to do whatever he can to pick fights with me for some reason. I'm suggesting that he should start a new thread for it! That way we can thrash at eachother all we want, and noone has any good reason to complain that we're straying from the issues!
What's all this about kids? Shouldn't we be sleeping together for at least a few months first before we start planning a family?

To be honest... I have felt that YOU have been trying to pick fights with me since you have joined. (BTW I was here before you were).

I have never been trying to pick fights. If you go and look, you'll find that I have been disagreeing with you and posting my side of the argument. It is you that has been calling senseless names and intentionally misinterpreting things for your own advantage. I have asked you many times to try and stick just to debating, but you always eventually end up crossing the line and making it something other than a debate.
