My boss and I were talking about some new video of the Loch Ness monster that appeared on TV. Has anyone heard about it or seen it? I am curious about how "real" it really is. Supposedly, it was the most clear video ever brought to light.

That lake was sonarred, Nessie is not here, not in the flesh. If it were said to be in the ocean I might be less skeptical, but as it is...

Then what the hell is that in the water?? That is so weird. I never really thought about it or even watched a video of Nessie before now, so I really have no opinion. I just think its weird that something that big is making the water move in such a way.

I don't see that footage as very convincing. It could just as easily have been a school of fish (have you ever seen one? they show up as a very distinct color, even in the ocean) or even a shadow cast on the loch by something else. Since nothing actually broke the surface, I wouldn't rule either of these out.

As for Nessie herself, I find it highly improbable that something that big lives down there and has never been sighted by more than a handful of people. Besides, full sonar sweeps have been done of the loch that proved to be inconclusive. Could Nessie exist? Possibly, but not likely.

We already saw the other sono pics, if there were any horns or tails we would know by now…like with the huge-ass feet.

Well, I got my moms feet and passed them down… wonder if that means anything… HEY! How come we're threading about this and gave up talking about the Lochness monster? I think I saw that thing in the kitchen the other day… wait, no, it was just a really big cockroach, nevermind.

Yeah sure some want attention and some are on drugs and some see something simply for the sake of seeing something so they can report it.

The water can cause some strange special effects but I think there is something bigger in that water than just the fish. I'm not convinced it's a prehistoric monster but it could definatley be LARGER than most.

That lake is pretty big and I don't care how many divers and how much sonar you use , there is always room for something to hide.

Probably. The Loch Ness Monster has the Bigfoot problem too, only worse -- that is, there probably isn't more than one or two if there is one at all, so it won't be around for much longer.

Have we ruled out the prospect of it simply being a whale or a shark that wandered in from the ocean? Or hell, even just a big fish? Some fish get pretty big.
