However, vocal anti-videogame activist and "lawyer" Jack Thompson disagrees. After reading the public report on FPSS, Thompson spoke out.

"FPSS proves that video games are responsible for all murders ever. In history."

When informed that First Person Shooters have only existed for the last 15-20 years, Thompson screamed that we were lying homosexuals, then sued us for criminal harrasment.

I must admit that I myself have experienced something similar to this. After playing the Battlefield: 1942 Desert Combat mod all weekend, I saw a huge group of people heading to the lunchroom at school and thought, "Damn, I wish I had an Apache Longbow right now. I would get so many kills." I didn't actually think I was in the game, I just thought how cool it would be if I was and had a Longbow.

I've experienced similar phenomena in various situations myself. And then I often think about how a big CRPG based on my book would play, but that's different.
