Well except by the obvious (Hitler, Polpott etc.) my father, my uncle, my friend Saari, my sister, my brother, well, most people I know. You see, they're all atheists :D

One thing thou, I HOPE Ayn Rand will be there. Infact, even thou I don't belive in hell, I hope there was a litteral hell (flames and torture and sftuff) just so Ayn Rand would burn there.

Lessee...

Hitler
Saddam
Madalyn O'Hare... eh... that's boring...

Coming up: :D

All the oil & gas traders & execs
CEOs of deregulated Utility Co's.
More than 3/4ths of all the doctors
Many presidents
The players of Wal-Mart
All the outsourcers
Fatcat CEO's
Most of Hollywood
Insurance company execs...

Picking up a trend here? (Hint: It starts with a 'g' and ends in 'reed')

Too bad there's no such place BTW.

I don't know, Jim. Is the idea really so extreme?

What kind of justice would there be if people who lived it up earning millions of dollars a year by exploiting people, sabotaging, laundering money, and using sleazy business practices just got off scot-free? I believe there must be some kind of retribution. Whether it's the classical "fire and brimstone" idea or something else doesn't matter -- surely there is still a "hell" of some sort.

Ok you got me here , I have to respond. Besides the obvious of Hitler , almost every POPE , Jerry Falwell and JFK and every atheist we do not know for sure. In fact I'd doubt if you would even meet any one in hell. Think about it , if it is really what GOD says you won't have time to meet anyone.

 I'm interested as to why you think almost every Pope would be in Hell. Other than the fact that they were Catholic, which isn't really a substantial argument.

I would never say because they were catholic.

Please don't hate me because of my opinion Los because we agree on most of what each other says......

With that said.... I do not claim to be affiliated with any sect of the Bible. I feel that most religious sects are based upon a monetary value. Again please don't be offended...... from what I read of the Bible Catholicism far exceeds Biblical standards. In other words there is so much that contradicts my readings of the word of God.

Our God is the same. I just disagree with some of the Catholic interpretations.

To answer your questions I did not say ALL popes were going to hell. I just feel that most of them have lost sight on what GOD really means and what God's Word really stands for.

If you open another thread about the Catholic sect of the Christian faith we can have a possibly long and drawn out conversation. I say this with the idea of learning and also to share my beliefs. No judgment , just ideas....Game?

I'd be up to that. I love to share my faith.

Some Popes in history were primarily concerned with money. These were the ones that lost sight of God. The rest have only been concerned with preserving their faith and the faith of the Church.

As for everything else, I'll open a new thread. In a theological debate with Limbo, I posted a long list of "Biblical Contradictions" found in Catholicism with explanations as to why they are actually completely Biblical. I'll dig it up and repost it, if you're interested. I'd like for someone to read it. :p

Well to start with, every single person who has ever comitted a crime of moral turpitude (against another human minus petty theft, but eh they may be there too). Every single child molester falls into that category, every child abuser, every rapist, every wife beater, every husband beater for that matter, every murderer (minus self defense )...

Then of course the obvious and maybe the not so obvious:
Hitler
Stalin
Christopher Columbus and his cronies (there is no way that the way they treated Native Americans would keep them from burning!!)
Billy Graham and every other church leader trying to pry money from old people's fingers when they are already destitute!
Oil traders and CEOs (I have to agree with my husband here...)
Al Qaeda...and other Muslim extremists like the one's in the Sudan who forced the Lost Boys to leave
I could keep going....
