It may be a lot of work, but I enjoy every second of it.. I have been working my ass off fixing up the house.. I doubt I would even do it for myself, but now I have a good excuse :D
I won't be posting much for a while... about once a week tops, but I STILL read, so keep it interesting for me :D

Cool. My to-be wife says she looks forward to have children one day and if it really is that good I can't complain can I?

http://forum.bullshit.com/images/icons/icon14.gifCouldn't agree with you more. It's a chance to give something back. It'll make you a better person I'm sure and bring you tremendous joy and satisfaction in the long run. Enjoy your kids while they're small, 'cause it sure doesn't last.:D

dammit jim...kids are every bit worth the effort we put into them, provided we pour love into that effort...hears a few quotes i've found about kids that might, if not enlighten you, at least entertain you:D
Children are natural mimics who act like their parents despite every effort to teach them good manners.
Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.
Never raise your hand to your children; it leaves your midsection unprotected.
Pretty much all the honest truth telling there is in the world is done by children.
The thing that impresses me most about America is the way parents obey their children.
Edward VIII, King
The test of the morality of a society is what it does for its children.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer
We spend the first twelve months of our children's lives teaching them to walk and talk and the next twelve telling them to sit down and shut up.
Phyllis Diller
Parents are the bones upon which children sharpen their teeth.
Peter Ustinov
The first half of our life is ruined by our parents and the second half by our children.
Clarence Darrow
and finally:
The soul is healed by being with children.
Fyodor Dostoevsky
