Planet of the Apes.....a saga about Apes taking over the Earth after man fails, and the Apes are pissed at man. The Gorillas are violent. The chimps are somewhat passive, and the Orangutan is the brains behind the operation, and humans dont add up to shit.

If a nuke war hit the planet hard, man would perish for the most part. The stock that we have running around here today....particularly the demorats....would perish for sure with tofu and marihuana to suck on. The Apes and Monkeys will live because they sleep in trees, they eat wild foods, and they know not greed or corruption beyond the collection of a few banannas for later.

How much of shocker that would be....monkeys survive where man fails.

Of course, in the movies, the uprising was led by a chimpanzee that was centuries ahead of his time, evolutionarily speaking. Even if we nuke the planet and all of the humans die out, the odds of us de-evolving and apes evolving beyond us is zero to none.

I loved every Planet of the Apes movie I saw (I've seen four of them, not counting the new one), but they were totally unrealistic.

Do you mean anuclear war to wipe out civilization, or every living human on this planet?

If the latter, then the apes are gone as well.

Cephalopods are more likely to develop a human intelligens when humans and apes are gone.
