Hey WhiteRaven.....by now you should know me well enough to know that I would never, ever, ever, let a demorat off of the hook for anything!

OK.,...lets give this some direction. Demorats often fail in local [and Federal] politics because DEMORATS DONT HOLD ONE ANOTHER ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS.....they merely shrug to their colleagues and may make a smart remark like "the devil made me do it" and that is the end of their accountability. Sadly, more and more of the young people we encounter are less and less likely to hold a politician accountable for their actions...especially a demorat...because young people seem to believe that unethical behavior in a demorat (or in anyone for that matter) is just NORMAL and accountability is something that they either dont care to do, nor know how to do, and they couldnt be bothered with it.

Politicians in general do that today, although I suppose it does seem more prevalent among democrats.

I agree with this. It's happening here too. We're becoming a society of finger pointers. We're all hellbent on defending our rights, but seldom care about our responsibilities.

I dont think this is a party political thing.

Every fuck-up is always someone elses fault, especially if there's a lawsuit to be heard. Is it possible in the US to litigate against the devil???

You see, now we have conversation. This post was a conversation piece.

I wonder how many politicians....Rat or Republican....would screw up if they faced incarceration or even outright execution for certain failures?

Militarists often decorate uniforms with a symbolic braid or rope that is worn over a shoulder. Gold, Silver, White, Red, Green, Blue....we have all seen these ropes and braids. Do you know where they originated from? At one time, a militarist when initiating a battle for a particular cause, would fashion a hangman's noose and wear it on his shoulder as a symbol of his dedication to what he was doing. The noose was not for others, it was for HIM in the event that he would fail or recklessly cause the deaths of conscripts in an unforgiveable military blunder! No doubt there were times when the noose or a sword or bullet was actually used to dispatch someone in that position that royally screwed up!

If such a thing was brought back today....or at least prison.....if a politician or militarist would decorate himself with say....a large gold jailhouse key....as a symbol of him proclaiming to KNOW what is in store for him or her should they abuse their office and powers....and make it mean something.....would this corrupt world see even a miniscule of improvement? Was there not a time when a gentlemen's agreement was real? Was there not a time when womenfolk were respected above all else because of their ability to produce and mother every human being that walked this planet? Did those times leave us because EHTICS was no longer a high priority!???
