Kinda "neeto" but your monitor would end up smudged and need continual cleaning. Just another way to work with virtual desktops, nothing more.

edit:
To really make it easier to work with the user should configure different wallpapers on each desktop as a visual cue as to which one he/she is working on. The other problem is if you are on desktop 1 and would like to get to desktop 3 you need to scroll past either desktop 2 or 4. I'd rather just work as I do having access to any desktop from the taskbar buttons. Looks like some kind of gimmick Apple would offer.

I've played with the cube PC desktop thing. It's eye candy, not much more. I haven't found much use for having more than one desktop as opposed to having everything on one desktop. The only difference is that this one has a touch screen, but we've had that technology for ages. The guy also seemed to be having a lot of trouble with it.

The second link, on the other hand, was incredible. I want one of those for my mansion. :D

You're in the office looking at http://germanwomenanallyrapingsubmissivemenwithmonsterous strapondildos.com when a co-worker comes in. Quickly hit ctrl-alt-2 and another desktop appears with your work related apps to hide your deviant sexual proclivities from the prying eyes of others.

Strictly a hypothetical situation.

I think he just typed out a bunch of bullshit and added a .com to it. He obviously likes German chicks though, and I can't say I blame him. :D
