I've got something driving me nuts.

On the song Seize the Day, in the chorus,
there's something that sounds like a smoke detector with dead batteries:

It's like:

Sieze the day, or die regretting the (BEEP) time we lost...

What's up with that? Anyone know?
I'm all walking around with the song on thinking my smoke detector batteries are dead,
then I get in the truck and... there it is again :eek:
WTF?!

This is one of my favorite all-time songs, and I can't get past this dang smoke detector sound...

No, It's actually in the track. Download it. There is a beep in the song, sounds like a smoke detector going off.

BTW, I NEVER buy CD's at Wal-Mart.. they are so disorganized it looks like a whirlwind hit the CD shelves, nothing is in order... of course, most of our Wal-Mart staff here doesn't speak English.... soo.....

There really is no beep...

Maybe it's some weird tone I can only pick up, like a dog whistle or something, only it's a Jim tone - I hear it in the same spot on the CD, on the radio in both cars, on the internet, converted to MP3, etc. It's a quick blip like a smoke detector that lasts a fraction of a second. AH, screw it!
