Q. Who in 1997 championed the privatisation of California's National Oil Reserve, and the subsequent drilling by Occidental that resulted in serious environmental damage, destruction to a sacred Indian burial ground and a windfall for his family trust's Occidental stocks?

Of course, does anyone really think an asshole piece of pig manure with a wife like "Tipper" Gore is going to follow the lying unscientific utter bullshit that Al insists that we believe and bow to? I really doubt it. Consider (if you haven't seen it)...

What I've noticed is that Climate shift always comes up during a period of high energy prices. 70's=The new Ice Age. Today=Global Warming. Watch, if prices collapse and there is no political agenda to bring them down, Global Warming will be cured, at least for a couple more decades...

I've got an even better game.

I'm an influential politician. I own 40,000 shares of a company that makes the only substitute for Freon. But Freon is plentiful, and well established.

Shit. What to do, what to do.

I got it!!! The OZONE. It needs SAVING. FREON is DESTROYING IT! That EVIL R12!!! Yea, that's the ticket! We can't lose the ozone. We'll all die! SAVE THE OZONE! BAN FREON!

Legislation passed. FREON GONE. Everyone is FORCED to convert to R134a.
Oh happy day! My 40,000 shares skyrocket!

LIFE IS GOOD. But I'm running out of my millions too quickly!

What's next?

Hmmm. GLOBAL WARMING. Boy, there's money to be made here!

Let the legislation begin!

The old ones still run on r12. However, at $400 plus per pound, it's hell to pay recharging these. You're better off replacing "read: RETROFITTING" them.

The new ones run on 134a.

Old cars are the issue. You usually can't really convert an older car to run on 134a long term. 134 operates at a higher pressure. Destroys any weak pressure points - if not quickly - then over time. Sure, you can convert the fittings and pour in 134a, but most older systems will fail at the higher operating pressures.

There is a Canadian company called Red Tek that sells r12a that operates at the same pressure as r12 but is "legal" in the US. -AlGore Approved. With the lower head pressures R12a by Red Tek generates, you CAN run in older cars designed for r12.

speaking of Canada....

Somwhere between 1776 and 2008 politicians migrated from doing a service FOR American to doing a service TO America! .... if you know what I mean...

They already blame humans for the extinction of the mammoth. Environmentalists just want to blame humans for everything so they can justify brainwashing everyone into some kind of major change.

There are usually two seperate agendas, sometimes they mix together.

ONE: Money. If you champion such a cause, you can gain access to funding for the cause and you can grab some green.

TWO: Control. If it gets big enough, you have a great basis for control via legislation. Fear is a motivator. I.E., "WE'LL DIE IF WE DON'T CHANGE THIS HORRIBLE THING WE'RE DOING TO THE PLANET!"
Presto! Now you gain control.

And as an added bonus? Now you can legislate even MORE MONEY!

Thus, the cycle begins.

Now there's a game WORTH playing ;)
