The messiah is in other words the Savior.....or the NEW Jesus Christ. It's saying that Brad and Angelina think that their kid will become the second comming of the lord, or something along those lines. They're just giving themselves too much credit, and there will be religious maniacs who'll rebel against this decision in some fassion.

I have made peace with myself about the whole smiting of God thing...okay...if Castro is still alive...then I'm fine...I can go out and kill children and rape old women....as long as Castro hasn't got hit by lightening...I'll be fine! :p

Well, considering the thread starter says "have named" in the past tense, and that the post was made before 6/6, I would say probably not.

Well we can always put an implatable chip in the baby, monitor him, and blow him up if we see him as a threat.

Of course perhaps the anti-Christ is not in the child in that case, but rather whatever in that case would be causing one to essentially murder the child over fear he may be the anti-Christ. It's an odd paradox.

Take the BR off of Brad (Pitt) and add it to Angelina(Jolie), and you have Brangelina. The Tabloids did that, I used to work at a supermarket, and read way too many of the scandal sheets. They also created one for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes it's the whole TomKat thing.:rolleyes:

By the way, "Shiloh" means "the peaceful one". It may have been used in the book of Genesis to refer to the Messaiah, but it does not directly translate to that. From Wikipedia:

The term "Shiloh" occurs also in Gen. 49:10 in a phrase translated in the KJV as "(..) until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be." This has led to one interpretation that "Shiloh" also refers to a person and is by Christians generally understood as denoting the Messiah, "the peaceful one," as the word signifies.

I don't know if Brangelina was referring to the Messaiah when they named her or they just wanted to call her "the peaceful one".

The "Nouvel" raises some suspicion, however, because "the /new/ peaceful one" implies that there was another specific peaceful one before her. I don't however know if a proper translation would be "The new peacful one" or "the young peaceful one" or "the peaceful one who is new/young/fresh/innocent/etc".

I don't know what the tabloid darlings were thinking, biut the baby name books always have the meaning of the name , and they would have seen it, and should have thought it a bit much. But the very emotional pregnant lady might have had her heart set on it, and Angelina looks like the type to throw things when she is angry.
