I really like Tim Burton movies, my favorites were Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, accually I like all of his movies, like James and the Giant Peach, they all have the same...morbid but lightharted feel to them. They are all fables, or have magic in them, they touch me in a "lost childhood" sort of way, I really like them, but I know a few people that completly hate them, it all depends on your individual tastes.

I wish I was him. How about that? Well no....he looks like a dumb drunk whore. I love his films. Like the dude above me, I love his morbid mind. I watched Edward scissorhands over a gazillion times and I still love it. I also love his take on Willy Wonka. Old johnny made Wonka cool.
Hmmm....I wonder why burton always hooks up with Dep?

...i love it when Tim goes animated, or rather computer animated...or wtf ever. but some of his films are crap...and some are heavy hitters. he is truly an asset to the 'film' industry.

I like Tim's wife :D and um, er, well, yeah his movies rule too. Burton and Depp are always a winning combination. I have the Corpse Bride but havn't gotten around to watching it yet, but if its even half as good as TNBC I'm sure I'll enjoy.

His movies definately have a different feel to them. Always such a dark essence in every Tim Burton movie I've ever seen. I can identify it as one of his movies almost instantly when flipping channels simply by this essence. Not that the dark essence is a bad thing....not for his movies anyways. They often have a darker plot to them and thus require this darker essence.
I can't say that they're my favorite movies, but they're good to watch every now and then for something different. Just don't do it too often, or you may learn that you've gone goth!:p
