Just wondering what everyone does for a living..
I'm actually a bit lazy myself, and school is a hand full anyway
I'm also facing problems as to what I should do with my life.. I'm probably going to study medicines.. But I'm not sure if I really want to be doctor, because running my own company or starting some major project sounds pretty nice too.. On the other hand, I dropped economics a couple of years ago..
It's just all so confusing ^^ and there's not much time left for me to make up my mind either
So how did you people decide what you wanted to study?

Poorly. I entered college immediately after High School ~ just picked the college because I liked the campus layout the best of all my choices ~ and set myself in the direction of a business major because that was what I was expected to do. After hearing a crash course in the Majors offered I chose the one that sounded most applicable to me and enrolled. It wasn't until I was mostly done with all the Major classes that I realized that this really isn't the fit for me. But now I'm so deep into it that it would be a huge waste to change my major now, so instead I threw on two minors and an extra year to try and broaden my options afterwards. Still I don't really know what I want to do when I get out of here in a year. Maybe I can play the stock market right and never need to get a real job....or better yet, I'll win the lottery! That's been on my todo list for about 4 years now.

I wanted to study theater, but could never get quite enough money to do it. So life made my choice for me. I ended up in retail management. Which happily gives me a creative outlet , and lets me communicate with others. At this very moment I am dealing with another of life decisions for me , Motherhood. Gotta love it, full time, nuthin' but the kids. Probabaly why I am on-line so much. NapTime Rocks.

Hehe, winning a lottery.. Yea, I'd like that too.. Then you wouldn't have to worry about money and you could do whatever you wanted for a living, without having to worry if it provides enough money. I'd probably be painting or writing books or something..
And being a mother sounds pretty cool too.. Though I'm not sure whether I want to have children, at least I wouldn't give up my studies or my job for them. I'll let my husband do that ^^

My oldest child is three, and we have tried it both with me at home, and with him at home. It just works better with me at home. Big suprise ,but he makes almost twice what I do. Being a mother is the single most fufilling and difficult thing I have ever done, but I waited until I was 26 to have my first. Finish your studies, get to know yourself a little better , all these things will help you .

Sounds like my type of woman! You do plan to earn a lot right? Close to six figures anyways? Where are you at? Maybe we should hook up....

Currently I'm a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer. I have a Masters and am licensed with the United States Coast Guard. Buy the way, I've been in Amsterdam, Netherlands on more than one occasion. Loved it!
