Some people like fucked up operating systems, viruses, and spyware. For everyone else there's linux!

I would run it in a heartbeat except for one small problem. I have tried Ubuntu on two different machines and can not get the wireless to operate.

Ubuntu is probably the exception to this. It has a new release every six months. Vista had 5 years to be developed, and see where it got to? Try Mandriva, it really impresses me.

Yeah I haven't had luck with Ubuntu myself. I might try a different version of Linux when I have some free time, in a few decades.
