Just thought I'd bring up a new point on the immigration argument. Especially with the ILLEGAL immigrants, it promotes the use of illegal drugs as well. I know that all I would have to do to find some MJ would be to ask the first Mexican I pass on the street. He'll happily hook me up with his dealer (if he isn't one) and I'll be able to find any other illegal drug that I want through that connection. They have these connections because they are bringing it all in from their old country! The first thing that we can do to start turning this shit around is to send every single one of them without papers back across the border.

1. Drug dealers cannot be classified by race but by social class. The reason there is more blacks/hispanics drug dealers than whites (not proven) is because there are more blacks/hispanics in today's working class and because they are numerous in the guetthos and can therefore re-enforced their positions.

2. Violence and crimes does not depend on race but on social status and geographical repartition of the people!!! Have you ever seen a rich mexican commit a crime? Please do not be ignorant. Maslow's famous pyramid of basic human needs clearly states that when the human is deprived of its more fundamental natural needs, he will do everything in his power to change that (water, food etc.). Mexicans and blacks just happen (because of history) to often be in the lower parts of that pyramid.

3. Illegal immigration is fundamental!! The reason this economy is so flurishing is also because of low labor rates (compared to other countries) immigrants can provide. If all illegal immigrants were kicked out of the country (like someone suggested) this economy will GO DOWN! As 3% of this country's population is composed of illegal aliens (around 7 million, do the math...)
That is why the goverment attempts to control immigration and not too much to avoid it or kick people out of the country.

4. My last point is that even though some people had bad experiences with mexicans working ...with turkey?....if China was near the border, they would be the ones you complain about. SO stop complaining about a race, but more about a social class (and in this case the goverment and today's economy is what you should blame). Do you know that in america the poor people are more poor than other poor population in other developed country. did you just compare muslim jihad movement with the crusades? are you serious? have you really study the crusades? the crusades had more to do with political agendas than it did with religion. I have never heard that analysis of the community you mentioned. There are actually several instances of isolated communities all around over the United States each having a unique linguistic phenomenon. The work from anthropologists I have read state that the isolated communities preserved the language commonly spoken at the time of their isolation. In other words they are representative of the English (or other language) spoken at that time. This example is not a regression of language but a preservation of it.

Here is the thing perhaps many whites wouldn't clean house or pick strawberries for less than 6 dollars an hour but we would do them for a fair wage but those who hire illegal immigrants do not wish to pay fair wage that's why they hire illegals to start with. It is not just those fields were illegals have moved into either. I worked for a manufactoring company were aleast 15% of the workforce was illegal. I know they were illegal cause every three months or so the company fired and rehired them under new names and social security numbers. I kind of felt some anger when i read the first post here about drugs coming from Mexicans. Lets not forget people that we have a lot more then just Mexicans that are illegal in this country.
Third yes its true that it is the poor population that may deal the drugs but drug abuse is very high in Lawyers and Doctors so lets not go throwing stones at the poor people.
