I used to collect frogs back when I was like 14....but now I don't really collect anything that I don't have to pay for, I guess the monetary value of things really means something to me.:o

A lot around Catalina Island (off the coast of Southern California) and some in Hawaii. It's awesome both places.

You're a pilot? That's awesome, I never knew that about you.
I love movies, good works of fiction (I can't read though, er, what I mean is that I can never get in a good position for reading. It hurts my back and neck. Shame though because if it didn't hurt my back and neck, I'd read a lot more). And as we all know, like you, I love women, and above all else God. =D
I love going out, too. Like places where I can meet people. Every time I go out I always meet someone new (girls of course ;)).
For example, when I took my 5-hour prelicencing course. It was basically a school type thing, only without the control-freak-ism and more lighthearted. There were maybe fifteen of us in the class at the most.
Now, the instructor liked to get the class involved, as many teachers do, by asking the class "does anyone know...?" questions. And I'm pretty smart so I usually have the answer. There's an art to being that smart though, you have to know when to answer, when not to, and how to. This way, you get the class's respect rather than being thought of as a know-it-all. Anyway. I definitely got the class's respect. But there was this other girl whom I noticed was also pretty smart.
I also noticed that at lunch time, whilst we all went across the street to get food at the strip mall, she stayed behind because she'd brought her lunch. Well nobody likes to eat alone, so while everyone else ate at the bagel place, I decided to take it out and run back to the office. She was already finished eating and had gone back inside when I got back, but when I finished eating and went inside, we still had a lot of time to talk. So we did, and now she's a good friend of mine.
This happens pretty much any time I go to any kind of non-recurring social situation where there's people (cute girls) that I don't know. Most of the time it doesn't go very far. We'll add each other on MySpace but that's it. But every once in a while I get a girl like Heather (the girl from the prelicencing class) that ends up being someone I talk to a lot. But hey, just knowing I can go anywhere and command respect from all kinds of cute girls basically just by looking at them makes me feel pretty good.
I also love building things. :D

Hey General, yeah, been flying small aircraft for a few years from 1989. I am a private pilot IFR (Instrument rating) and I fly equipment like Pipers, Cessnas, Mooneys , etc. It's a blast, man, I really love it! :)

I was assuming you were 18 when you went to college, which was in 1989. 2006 - (1989-18) = 35.

Not completely sure, I know you can be "color blind" and get a private pilot's license medical which is a "3rd class medical." You can't get a "commercial" or "transport" license because for a commercial license (like a corporate pilot) you need a 2nd class medical, and for a transport license (the big jets like 747s) you need a 1st class medical.
I am very slightly red / green color blind (about 30% of males are) and it has never been an issue to get a 3rd class medical needed to have a private license. It does affect the 2nd and 1st class qualification, but in many cases, if it is not too severe (like me), you can still get a 2nd class medical and in some rare cases maybe a 1st class medical "color blind exemption." If you only want a private license it should never be a problem unless you are 100% color blind which almost no one is. And I am not totally sure what the FAA regs. are in that case. Since it has never been an issue with me, I might not have all the details correct. I am a private pilot and fly for fun only, so the best thing to do is ask a flight school instructor to get the most updated FAA regs on color blindness.

I didn't know that. I thought if you were even mildly colorblind you couldn't fly.
When I took the ASFAB & medical exam they tested me. They told me that due to my form of colorblindness I wasn't able to fly. Perhaps my form condition is acute?

Hmmmm, well, if you are like me, slightly color blind, you can for sure get a license and a 3rd class medical. Did they mean you can't fly at all, period? Or just for a living like a commercial and transport pilot? What degree of color blindness did they say you have? Mine is slight and has no affect on my flying.

I like MARTIAL ARTS!!! THE FAST PACED SPARRING, THE FIRE OF YOUR WILL EXPLODING WHEN YOU GIVE IT EVERYTHING YOU GOT! THE END OF THE BOUT WHEN YOU SHOW RESPECT AND HUG YOUR DOJO BROTHER OR SISTER! THE KATA/FORM PRACTICE! THE SLOW, INTENSE, FLUID MOTIONS MIXED WITH HARD, SHARP, SNAP LIKE MOVEMENTS. But most importantly, at the end of the day when you realize you've forged your body and will. When you realize your better than you were the day before. I also like... LE PARKOUR!!! the ART OF MOVEMENT! JUMPING BUILDING GAPS, VAULTING RAILS AND FENCES, CLIMBING EVERYTHING, JUMPING OFF HEIGHTS! THE PRECISION, COURAGE, AND FLUIDNESS IT REQUIRES!!!
SORRY, G2G HAVE SOME NOW!!!

Hey - sorry to join this late, but anyways - I love horses! My horse in particular of course :), but also the rest of them.
I worked with a totally wild mustang mare a while ago - it was a trip. Nobody had ever touched her. The fools who owned her, before my friend bought her, dragged her around on a lasso trying to tame her. Obviously she wouldn't have that. Since then nobody could get close to her.
We first coaxed her into a trailer - with food - then we unloaded her in a round pen, and there I negotiated with her for days and days - and one day - she finally let me touch her, pet her and later even put a halter on. It was amazing to see this entirely wild creature gain trust in me and allow me to be with her.
Horses are awesome!!! And all it takes is getting to know them!

Yeah - they definitely have their own mind and will. If they want you off - you're off. I would know - I probably fell off about 40 times or so. When I first started to work with and learn about horses, I worked for an old cowboy, who would sent us into the field on his half-wild horses that hadn't been ridden, with nothing but a halter. They bucked and reared and more than anything just ran off to wherever they thought was cool.
Yeah, I fell off A LOT - at some point I guess my riding got good enough and with every fall my determination bigger to not do that again - so I stopped falling.
Also, a Native American horse trainer taught me a lot about horses and how to negotiate with them to where they'll trust and respect you and won't even think of pulling any of that nonsense.
I hope you'll get back on a horse.
The old cowboy always said - "there's nothing better for the inside of a person, than the outside of a horse" :)

I lived in Ghana because I joined the Peace Corps after college. I taught math & science at a girls high school. After, that tour was done I joined Crisis Corps and went to Kenya and trained teachers on HIV-AIDS education. A few years ago I wnt to Malawi and lead a team of HIV-AIDS educators working with villages, schools and sex-workers.
It has been great. I love Africa.
