What do "THEY" Do?

What do presidents do after they're finished with their presidency? It doesn't seem that you hear much about them any more beyond what their latest golf score was. Why don't presidents stay in politics and retake the position they left to become president? Are they all really so arogant that they can't step back down a notch after being at the top?

It depends on the president. They all work on their librabries, and some give speeches for lots of money. Then there is Jimmy Carter, who has done as much if not more diplomatic work after his presidency as during it.
