No, no, no. XBox is the best. I just can't ever get comfortable with the controllers of the others, and that's the only real difference about any of the systems that matters. Sure, Playstation has a wider selection of games and Nintendo holds the rights to a good collection of the better games, but without the right controller it just doesn't matter.

I disagree. Controllers can be gotten used to, but bad games will always suck. Hell, I play MGS with a computer keyboard and I'm happier with it than a pig in shit. Just like how I'd rather watch The Godfather on a shitty iPod than Titanic at the IMAX.

That just shows where our preferences differ. I don't care how awesome the game can be, if I can't get comfortable with the controller I won't have fun. Equally, I don't care how awesome a movie is, if the quality it is presented in is horrible then I'd reather not watch anything.

I see your point too. I wonder if you can get a custom controller for any console? Personally I think they should make them USB-compatible, this way you can use any controller you want.

I think you can buy adapters to make the playstation and x-box controllers workable on the other systems. I used to think the playstation controller the better of the two, but after being dragged into many Battlefront games, I now just love the trigger on the x-box controller, although I find the controller itself bulky.

That's why they came out with the S-controller, which is now the standard one. It fits perfectly into the hands of most people, but the original controller truly was too bulky for most.

I think the GameCube controller is just way too uncomfortable, the PS2 controller is fine but lacks the roundedness comfort of the Controller S which also has triggers for better gameplay as well as easier gripped analogue sticks. The 360 controller I believe is the most ergonomic controller i've used, I use it for the X360 and PC (i despise using a keyboard for games), although I wish instead of moving the black/white buttons the added an extra two and left them.

As for games, most of my Xbox games are exclusives, and most of my PS2 games are cross-platform from before I converted to Xbox. I keep the PS2 for occasional exclusives such as............erm.............God of War, Shadow of the Collosus is pretty awesome too, other then that, PS2 exclusives don't appeal to me since I tend to favor western developed games.

I've never been a Nintendo fan, why? Not because I dislike 'kiddy' games, but because I already struggle to keep up with my Xbox and occasional PS game purchases. Console fanboyism is all down to not being able to afford all platforms and getting the best out of all three.

In conclusion, it comes down to game preference, but I fail to see why most westerners that aren't interested in Japanese game culture would favor the PS2 other then its Sony brand. My collection being mainly exclusives to Xbox gives me a viable reason why i'm an Xbox fanatic.

man i like all the gaming systems but by far xbox 360 is the shit. i own a ps2 and a ds but microsoft is still kick ass. gears of war rules!!!:D
