People who dont want public schools are more often than not ignorants themselves. Public education is important as it increases social mobility in a society as well as levels the playing field of opportunity somewhat.

And we wonder why we "graduate" kids from high school who can barely spell their own names, think the Bill of Rights might have, ahhhh, not sure, ummm, been written in the soviet union by stalin, and have no idea who "Tom Jefferson" is.

If we can't get our schools in order and fire assholes like this, we will never pass on freedom to future generations. A good education is vital to the preservation of freedom...liberals know that...hint.

All I know is Public Schools, or at least the one I went to: All the books were old as shit, but god forbid the sports teams play with old balls. Also, nobody was ever failed. No matter how shitty their grades, nobody got held back. All of which was gay enough to make me think that if we do keep public schools, we should at least run them right.

They should have the same standards as private schools. Did you go to a public school? Did you take the gateway? it was EASIER THAN ANY CLASS TEST I HAD. AND IT IS A FUCKING GOVERNMENT EXAM! And my classes weren't that hard in the first place. That's just un-fucking-believable.

No they're not. Education itself exists elsewhere. Public school's one and only purpose is indoctrination, something we really don't need.

Unless you live in a rich section of town, public school is nothing more than day care mixed with constant liberal brain blending. I'm not saying we should get rid of public schools, just that they need to get their act together and stop sucking moose cock.
