Funny. Even though I have a place in Florida, I've never been a fan of Tampa. Don't know why. Maybe I'll learn to be a fan during the series!

During the season,as the Rays were doing so good,their ballpark only sold half their seats on average ,each game.Where are the Fans?

Want my honest opinion, Led? When I am at my pad in Florida, the LAST thing I think about is Baseball! and I'm a HUGE FAN! Instead, I'm headed to the beach. Also, I don't want to sit in the stands in July in Tampa! New York or Toronto is hot enough in July. Tampa is ridiculously hot and humid.

Now, by the time spring training rolls around, I have really missed baseball over the winter, so I try and catch as many games as possible during spring training expos. But when the season gets into full swing, I pass on Florida based baseball games. I tend to stay north in the summer. South in the winter. Sound familiar? :D

Sure does.I like to head up to mountains in Ca.during the summer.(between Sequoia and Yosemite)Back to baseball,alot of Tampa Bay fans don't like crossing the bridges to St.Petersburg in afternoon for the game.So much traffic.

I used to do a lot of business in that area. Had a place in Olympia, WA at one point. Years ago. No longer get to the West or Pacific Northwest very often, and I'm not a Mariners Fan! ;)
