It blows my mind that are are actually people out there who look at Pontiac Azteks, Scions, and Honda Elements, resist the urge to spew their breakfast over the windshield, and buy them. Good God, people, why?!?
This list has the potential to be huge, but I'm too forgetful to remember very many of them:
LIST-O-INSANELY-FUGLY-CARS
Pontiac Aztek
Honda Element
Chevrolet SSR
Help me out, here.
And while I'm on this topic, Honda should not be making pickup trucks! You guys make great cars, motorcycles, outboard engines, and lawnmowers. But, just, don't. Stop.

Yeah, that Ford GT is sweet, but they're not making too many of them. Ford needs something to compete with the Corvette. Modern Mustangs are economy cars - the GT is a supercar, but there's nothing in-between.
I can't stand the front grills on those Nissans. Nissan / Datsun made great light pickups, just like Toyota - they last forever, and I respect that. Call me old fashioned, though, but it'd be hard for me to buy a full-size that isn't a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge.

I agree, except find a car that is totally made in the country. Half of the car you are drving was probably made in Mexico and freaking Pakastan! :( Not to mention that the software running any onboard computer in your car was probably written in fucking India by a dude setting in front of a computer made in China! Welcome to the "global economic system."

Add to that list the new Dodge Charger which is sold as retro. When did american muscle come in a four door or statiowagon like the Dodge Magnum? Seems Dodge in general has their heads up their asses. The first release of the Viper was perfect, almost cartoon like in style, then they smoothed it out to attract Corvette buyers. They even got rid of the funny Viper insignia, assholes!

haha. thats a pile of shit! my buddy bought an 03 SVT cobra. we put a whipple only running 13lbs, bigtube headers, x-pipe, larger heat exchanger, and carbon fiber intake(all in all, hes got about 27 grand, including the price of the car, bought used) we pulled up next to one of those ford GT "supercars", and it only pulled about 3 feet on us, bumper to bumper! and dont get me started on the Zo6's. 500 HP my ass! the cobras been dynoed(and not even tuned to max potential) at 450 wheel hp, and he pulls about a car on the zo6. all caught on camera!
best part about it, we built this car in the dorm parkin lot at our college!

well, that is just one experience. I'd had an experience with Ford that makes me think twice before ever purchasing anything that they make. A nice little Cougar, (okay mercury, same company different name) that always found different little things to break down and my dad always insisted on getting them fixed, because he liked the car too! He would pay for half of the repairs and since it was my car to drive I was responsible for half also, even though I insisted many times on just giving up on the little lemon! He even had the engine replaced to try and extend the life of the thing, but it still went to hell in less than a year. Obviously this whole experience has given me sour feelings about the company in its entirety, but I intend to try to give them another shot when I need to purchase a car again. Simply because it was just one bad experience that can't be used to define the entire company. Because if this definition were true, then the company could not have possibly gotten nearly as large as it is, or afford to maintain its size.
Globalization has taken automotive industry by storm. Big companies are merging together to control the market. This in turn destroyed the way many companies were focused on building cars. Every company now adays has every single type of car, truck, suv... Where are the days when different companies built cars that were worth reading about in Motor Trend.
However I still believe in Acura, Audi and BMW to continue building extraordinary machines that are worth taking a look at.
