this guy is a joke, i'm so happy that the steelers unloaded his ass
he's a prima donna
it just shows how sad it is when sports talk shows
( espn ) say how great he is.
a typical black man who thinks he has to carry a gun
to be a big tough guy.
these guys make millions of dollers but they
still want to live that hood life
doesn't make sense.
i hope he goes to jail and the giants get their money back

tbh, i don't mind the fact that he was carrying...i will forever defend a mans' right to self-defense measures...i will state that this dumbass should at least have a modicum of training in order to do so

thats true tek, i don't care and like you will defend his right to
carry a firearm. my beef is that these guys have made it.
they got out of that crippling lifestyle of the inner city.
surely there has to be someone telling these guys
that clubs and places similer are potentually dangerous
to pro athletes.
and for gods sake if you buy a gun
go out take some classes and learn how to use it
properly and safely

Typical black man? You are a complete idiot.

It's not about making millions and still wanting to live "hood." The fact is, athletes are now being targeted by robbers and thieves. Yet the Gov't (Police) don't want to do anything but charge them with idiotic crimes. Child rapist serve less time then Plax could.

why don't ya read all of his posts on the subject before ya go callin names, dillweed...it isn't about the dude having the right to defend himself, it's about him not understanding the nature of carrying a firearm...if dude shoots himself in the ass, then dude deserves what he gets, tho he really shouldn't face jail time unless he's not licensed to carry

Because it's in New York and it's against the law. It's not an "American thing" to break the law.

Yeah if the man shoots himself is okay thats attempted suicide but it's your free will if I shot myself I would only endanger myself and I have a right to. Owning a gun the gov. doesn't know about is as American as apple pie and baseball.

i believe in new york it maybe just the city thou
even if you have a permit for the gun
it better not be loaded, they will nail your ass
thats one of the reasons why plaxico is in
such big trouble.
i don't think you can even have a protection permit
in nyc
not sure thou

i've been called worse,

would it have been more correct to say african-american
athletes have always been targeted in some form
or another.
and they have no one to blame but themselves
going into these clubs with all their gold
and shit on
and the truth of it is
why is it the black athlete being targeted
i don't see eli or romo being robbed
or shooting themselves

Whats the point in following laws simply because they are law. if the law is unjust then i have no problem with people breaking it. when the day comes when the government decides to "take our guns away" (i dont think it's that far off) you'll be wishing you had some illegal firearms. (not that i do)

Tek, did you hear about the Police Chief in Ohio that shot himself in the leg while training his daughter to use a gun last week ?

So much for training... :D

Try getting a handgun permit in New York, it's worse than California. I didn't even think they allowed handguns in the city limits, but that should have been changed by the SCOTUS decision. If I couldn't own a gun legally, I would just own one illegally too.

I agree that he should have got some training so that he would know what he was doing with his gun, but I think that since he has made it big he should have just hired someone to protect him. Then someone that knows how to handle a gun properly would have been in public with a gun. I think that it pisses me off more that he put people in danger that he did'nt even know. He could have shot someone all because he did'nt know what the hell he was doing with a gun that he purchased.

When the day comes when the government decides to "take our guns away",Yes I will then have illegal firearms.

i've several firearms, all insured and registered, which i don't mind simply if they ever get stolen...i don't mind em knowing what i've got, because they might think twice about taking em away...

I have quite a few firearms. Handguns, rifles, shotguns. I also have a complete reloading bench, stocked pretty well.
I remember the hysteria years ago regarding "arsenal stockpiling" where there was a movement afoot to make the stockpiling of firearms, AMMUNITION and the ability to MAKE AMMUNITION illegal.

I have a few liberal friends whom recoil (pun intended) if you even MENTION you own a gun. It's like Kryptonite to them.

i've a few friends like that....but they also tell me that as long as people like me (not sure what they meant by that, but i assume they mean trained) are responsible owners, they don't have problems with it, tho they'll sit and argue for hours on whether i should be allowed to by an h-k, uzi, or rpg :D

My friends are a bit more skiddish, Tek.
They HATE guns in any fashion, and even the thought that I may own ONE 22 caliber hunting rifle is too much for them to conceive. One of my friends actually wanted to inspect my car to make sure I did not have a gun in the trunk before he got in the car. Good grief. Paranoia and lack of understanding of what a firearm is really for in the hands of the rational.

These are the same guys that tell me help is only a phone call away. No need to own a gun.

Yea, right.

I'll tell the Perp, "Time out, I'm calling the police. You wait here till they arrive and we'll get this settled!" ;):D
