Traveling to the U.S. to attend college is not as easy as it used to be. It will be necessary for him to contact the school's foreign student department and arrange the paperwork that is needed. Your brother will probably need to have proof of registration and a bank statement from your family stating that enough money will be supplied by the family to support him in school in order for him to get a U. S. Student Visa.

Once he selects and is accepted by a college or university, the school will help him through the steps that are necessary for him to get a visa.

Good luck to your brother, and tell him that in a U. S. school the best thing is to go along with all the bullshit you hear from the professors, and other classmates and not stick out and look like a troublemaker. If he is of average intelligence or better and studies hard he should do well. It's not all that hard, but it is important to keep up the pace of what is going on. He must be fluent in English. If not, he will need to learn it before enrolling.
