ok i'm not very smart when it comes to computers

i was just givin a free pc for my kids
i thought it would be a good beginers computer for them

it is a ast sabre 5166 it only has 32 mb
does anyone know where i can look to get more ram
i tried staples already
and i could not find anything on geeks .com either
any help is appreciated

you're gonna have a helluva time finding memory and parts for that dinosaur, hh...i'ld talk to somebody that works on the older stuff to find it...

AGHHH! No bullshit. I just threw out about 128 meg of ram that would have fit that machine!!! About a week too late! Sorry.

Tell ya' what, EBAY. Best bet.

Try your local flea market or Swap Meet.There's always vendors there that sell older Ram chips for cheap.I think that computer has 4 simm slots that hold 32 Mb max each.Open the case and see.If so you can only buy 3 more 32Mb PC100 chips bringing the total to 128Mb.
