Freakin' Fox Network, man... I used to really, REALLY enjoy it. Every Sunday, we would watch "Animation Domination" ritualistically.. and I can't forget the now-canceled shows like Married w/Children, Futurama and The War at Home.
But this year, Fox has finally taken the leap and totally bastardized Sunday Nights.
The Simpsons is freaking worn out. Why two episodes every Sunday? Why not just one that's really funny like it used to be?
They are canceling King of the Hill this year.
They are adding a SECOND Family Guy spinoff, 'The Cleveland Show'. Come one, REALLY? Family Guy hasn't been that funny since its revival. American Dad was okay, but nothing special. Now they plan to do a spinoff of the most BORING, UNFUNNY CHARACTER on Family Guy? Barf.
This is really going to suck. It's bad enough they show a 2-hour premiere of American Idol - until a contestant does some Pantera or Tool, that show sucks donkey balls. But now they're fucking up my Sunday nights, too. Fox sucks. Their only saving graces at this point is Hell's Kitchen, and it only runs during the summer.
If I were Rupert Madoch, I'd probably feel like headbutting the pavement.

Canceling King of the Hill for some lame Family Guy spin-off!?! I think Boomhaur is funnier than anything that could come of the Cleveland Show!

Yup. And it looks like Mike Judge is already moving on to a new cartoon, The Goode Family. (http://animatedtv.about.com/od/showsaz/p/goodefamily.htm) *SNORE*

Rupert Madoch is a very powerful man in the media world yet I don't know how he helps take care of a very piss poor scheduling program. Fox though has become so overblown with crap that they are just like MTV with the motto. "Get rid of the good to give more crap."

Rupert Murdoch practically owns the worlds media.
I doubt he's heard of the shows your talking about, less care about what they show on Fox.

He owns NewsCorp, which owns Fox and other media such as MySpace. He calls the shots and has done press releases for the network.

Over here he owns the Sky network. He owns our biggest newspapers and practically runs world Soccer.
He wont be headbutting a pavement because you don't like a cartoon Jim.

Not literally, but piss off enough of your audience and you lose it.

I somehow doubt the man who is responsible for FOX news is worried about pissing anyone off. It's almost hubris with him, too bad none has the stones to force him to do anything.

Maybe it would have just been easier to call Madoch a dickhead.
Anyway, the new Fox schedule blows.

There are legitimate journalists connected to FOX - the ones who work for their local affiliates. Any one you see on the bloated hate factory that is their 24 hour news network is just a tool of the media arm of the Neo-Conservapublican teabagging corporate god-monkeys.
The likes of Glen Beck,Bill O'Rielly, Sean Hannity and Fox and Friends are no more journalists than I am the pope. They are ideologues and talking heads. They are not concerned with the truth or what the other side has to say.
The local affilates on the other hand seem to have a greater connection tot he communities they serve than to a political ideology.

It depends on your political tastes. CNN has, intentionally, provided the same bias in favor of liberals (remember the video?), though I'm not familiar with their journalist line-up, because as a general rule I don't watch CNN.
