Jets vs Sharks

The majority of the users of this forum seem to have reduced the issue of immigration down to a simple, testosterone fueled, us vs. them battle, like in Westside Story. You remind me of the football hooligans you get fighting in my town on a match day.

:rolleyes: :D Well, the Jets suck, but I don't know about any football team named the Sharks, you must be getting into hockey there, and I've never been a hockey fan.

I agree. Everyone's taking sides and not looking at the situation objectively. On one hand, we can't just let people come in here as they will, we'll get overrun. On the other hand, we can't treat people badly just because they don't belong here. Everyone is entitled to basic human needs. But remember, it's not illegal to keep an illegal immigrant fed and clothed.

So how hard is it to become legal? Why aren't these people becoming legal? How can we help?
