"Your score was 26 out of 30. That is an excellent score, you would have a very strong chance of passing the Mensa test and joining Mensa.
Please note that the Mensa Workout is NOT the official Mensa test, and your score will not qualify or disqualify you for membership."

Wow, I took the same test about a month ago and got the same score! Tell me, have you ever heard of the word banalities?

Before that test no, but apparently...
banalities
n. pl. ba·nal·i·ties
1. The condition or quality of being banal; triviality: The banality of the speaker's remarks put the audience to sleep.
2. Something that is trite, obvious, or predictable; a commonplace: Television commercials are full of banalities.
Got to say its not a form of the word banal I've ever heard before. Didn't get that one :(

Not at all a surprise. I doubt anyone with an IQ less than Steven Hawking, (or maybe that Ken guy on Jeopardy), could get that one.

You're not suggesting that she purchase a MENSA membership are you? Actually, the first thought that came to mind was that you were encouraging her to try the test again and get a perfect score....but this test is identical every time you take it, so all that it requires is the ability to remember the what the correct answers were for more than 2 seconds.
Anyways, I might just end up buying myself a MENSA membership after I get out of college when I have money to spare....just to show the world that any idiot can pull it off!

I got 24 out of 30. I'd say I'm more wise than intelligent though.
I got a 30 the second time I took it :D

Wow, you should take it again, you're bound to get at least a 32 the third time with your rate of improvement!

I would except there are only 30 questions. :D

Well, obviously you aren't in the top two percent of the nation's intelligent people, so the test must be allowing for extra credit, right?

Haha what makes you think that? XD

Because I scored just as well as you did and I know there isn't a chance that I'm in the top 2%. I only scored a 23 on my ACT!

And I don't even know if that's a good score or not. :D

What, for the ACT? That's a score that's just slightly above the average. The best you can get on the ACT is 36 and average scores are 21. In Minnesota if you don't score at least the average you're going to be hard pressed to get accepted into any post-secondary school.

That doesn't make sense. At least 50% of the population's going to get lower than average. O_o

Right, but the top two percent are going to do a lot better than the average than I did.
