Race Only Scholarships!!

Scholarships for Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics but none for whites. I'm quite tired of this that because your black you get 50,000 to school. I feel that this is more bigoting toward whites. But you really can't do anything about this because people will be called racists if you object to it. Come on though I thought all of this was water under the bridge. If we were done with being bigoted then we should just make it to all eligible to everyone of any color as long as they are seen worthy of the scholarship.

I understand your frustration, Micro.
A VERY small percentage of our population is Black, yet, if you follow the liberal media, you'd believe we were at LEAST 60% Black as a nation, and sure as hell, if you watch TV, you'll see this transparently.
As I travel, most television local news broadcasts I watch in my hotel rooms nationwide have Black or Hispanic and on RARE occasion WHITE FEMALE Anchorpersons.

It's skin color, not need that determines scholarship requirements as you are finding out.

The White American Male is now the minority?

I received this email and the subject is (Letter from a Florida Teacher):

This is a subject close to my heart. Do you know that we have adult students at the school where I teach who are not US citizens and who get the PELL grant, which is a federal grant (no pay back required) plus other federal grants to go to school?



One student from the Dominican Republic told me that she didn't want me to find a job for her after she finished my program, because she was getting housing from our housing department and she was getting a PELL grant which paid for her total tuition and books, plus money leftover.



She was looking into WAIT which gives students a CREDIT CARD for gas to come to school, and into CARIBE which is a special program (check it out - I did, http://www.caribeprogram.com/) for immigrants and it pays for child care and all sorts of needs while they go to school or training. The one student I just mentioned told me she was not going to be a US Citizen because she plans to return to the Dominican Republic someday and that she 'loves HER country.'



I asked her if she felt guilty taking what the US is giving her and then not even bothering to become a citizen and she told me that it doesn't bother her, because that is what the money is there for!



I asked the CARIBE administration about their program and if you ARE a US Citizen, you don't qualify for their program. And all the while, I am working a full day, my son-in-law works more than 60 hours a week, and everyone in my family works and pays for our education.

This pisses me off royally! I am in major debt because of my student loans. Apparently, some people think that just because you are white, your parents can afford to pay for your college education. They obviously haven't met the majority of white Americans...

i don't see why this surprises you guys, as these liberal spending programs are par for the course...it's been going on ever since the beginning of the NAACP, and it's evident that in order to get a free higher education, all you need is a non-caucasian geneology :cool:

Offering it to them and not us due to race is racist. Unfortunately, like you said, if we speak out against it we become racists, which is also racist. We should be called patriots.

IMO, I would never give in to the "Political Correctness" of the evil white man or son of evil white man being able to get the same treatment as the Black or Asian or whatever color person. The notion that the white man owes the black man or any other skin color something because of events that happened 200 years ago is absurd. We've got a BLACK man in the WHITE house now. The playing field is leveled. I have no debt to pay back to society. Just give me the same treatment as everyone else. Otherwise it's discrimination against me and my brothers. To which I cry "BULLSHIT!" And since there are millions more of us, our scream will be VERY loud, know what I mean? ;)

Except that some whites are idiots and feel guilty about it, so a lot of them will be screaming at the more intelligent ones. If this gets too much farther out of hand, a racial war isn't outside the realm of possibility, And I think we'd see some whites painting their skin brown. For all any of us know, some black guy had a great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great GRANDFATHER that enslaved millions during the Philistine and Egyptian war 2,500 years ago. Should he compensate me for that atrocity of my ancestors?

They are not my relatives per say but the are my religious ancestors so I am affected here. Also is it too stereotypical to ask for it is just pennies?

Who knows what cultural blood we've got running through our veins. I have no idea. I was just speculating. Go back enough generations, and many European immigrants can probably trace back to Philistine blood. Go back FAR enough and we're all related somehow.

We should just get legislator to absolve the scholarships and make them for everyone or take the money and send it to a race exclusive scholarship. You know since the lefts are really big on giving everyone a fair chance and that we shouldn't be discriminating.

I have no problem with immargants that go through the proper stages to become a citizen, but not the ones that "jump the fence" and don't even have enough respect to learn English. They claim they are not criminals but if you enter the country illeagaly the you are a criminal.
