View Full Version : President Bush

I'm sick and tired of people bashing Bush. It's no longer funny. I don't personally give an American flag one way or the other about the guy since he's in charge of America and the whole country is shit. But the Bush bashing is bullshit. For example, the "anyone who can render himself unconscious with a pretzel isn't fit to rule the country" bumper sticker. I'm almost 100% sure that all of these people have done something more stupid than choke on a pretzel, such as putting that stupid fucking bumper sticker on their car.

I say, fuck politics. I don't care one way or the other about the war, as long as I can live my life the best I can. Really. What's the point of knowing politics? So that you can have an intelligent conversation? Really, these "intelligent conversations" always tend to turn personal quick. That said, I do know a lot about abortion (pro-life). But I also know when to just say "no comment". So occasionally you get the intellectual that enjoys debating, but really, it's not worth knowing politics just so that you can appease them.

I especially love all the dipshit angsty emo 15-year olds that think they'd make a better president than Bush. I'd love to see how much more they could fuck up an already fucked up country. Hey, that's an idea for the terrorists. They can attack us by arranging for some slutty, angsty, emo 15-year old girl to be president! I'm awesome.

Well, I agree for the most part, but frankly, some scummy 15 yr old emo would do better than Bush! :P I don't pretend to know Bush, or politics, but I do know he is absolute SHIT!

Want proof that alot of people don't like Bush? Go to http://www.google.com, in the search parameters, type "failure" (minus the quotation marks) & then instead of hitting "search" hit "I'm feeling lucky!" next to it, this will show you the web page MOST mentioned with the word "failure" attached to it.

Don't ask my opinion, ask it of the world & Google.

Well I never said I like Bush. He's supposed to be making abortion illegal (that's basically why he was elected) and hasn't done shit. On the other hadn, if most people really did hate him they wouldn't have re-elected him. After all, Bush is recieving the same critisism he did then, and in the 2000 election as well. The Google thing isn't proof of anything. But like I said, I don't really give an American flag. I just think it's bullshit when people pick on the president like that. For starters, we're basically letting the terrorists win - they knew, after all, that if they attacked us, we'd go after them and get into a big war, and naturally nobody would like Bush anymore. Sometimes I wonder if everything isn't going 100% according to their very plan. But I digress...

I'm sick to death of this liberal vs conservative bullshit that's infected practically every forum on the internet.

How does using "republiKKKan" or "libturd" in a post help your argument any? And since most boards have little to do with politics, WTF does it have to do with anything?

Just a bunch of immature, lonely 30-year-old live-at-home's who've discovered that they can get a response, albeit a flame war, if they bring politics into a thread. Hell, most of them don't know a single, goddamned thing about politics in the first place.

Yeah, there are plenty of good reasons not to like the guy, but hating Bush and being vocal about it is just the "cool" thing to do right now, too. This crowd-mentality pisses me the hell off.

Of course Google returns a website about Bush when you type in "failure", and of course a lot of news time is devoted to the anti-Bush crowd. Fact is, the only ones who're going to say anything are those that feel strongly about the subject. The 50-whatever percent of the population that voted for Bush aren't going to go out of their way to express their support for the guy every day like the other side does.

The vocal minority is the loudest. The quiet majority, on the other hand, actually has a life.

I'm sick to death of this liberal vs conservative bullshit that's infected practically every forum on the internet.

First of all, this section is directly about politics, so stfu.

How does using "republiKKKan" or "libturd" in a post help your argument any? And since most boards have little to do with politics, WTF does it have to do with anything?

Umm, who said that? Also, this section is directly about politics, so stfu.

Just a bunch of immature, lonely 30-year-old live-at-home's who've discovered that they can get a response, albeit a flame war, if they bring politics into a thread. Hell, most of them don't know a single, goddamned thing about politics in the first place.

Hey, I am a 25 yr old male sitting at home, my home, with my wife & kids, I just happen to like forums, I like to discuss things with people, frankly, you are the one starting a flame war...

Yeah, there are plenty of good reasons not to like the guy, but hating Bush and being vocal about it is just the "cool" thing to do right now, too. This crowd-mentality pisses me the hell off.

No, there are many good reasons to dislike Bush, like say the "fumbled" vote in Florida that won the election, yet, seems strange as his brother is the Governor there... Etc. I have more, don't make me list them. I don't do "cool" tyvm.

You forget, a good percentage might not have voted, due to the aforementioned voting incident in Florida, & the Google hit page for failure is just plain funny, (not to mention ironic). Quite frankly, I think the percentage that actually still likes Dubya doesn't speak up as often due to fear of criticism in our society, due to our fear of what people may think of us. (i.e. Human nature, not the masses, just a broad term.) BTW, don't you know that the majority of the major networks, up until the hurricanes (and Bush's family responses, not only his) were pro-Bush? Makes ya wonder, he is so disliked by the masses, that even the pro-Bush media has bad things about him? Go figure.

The vocal minority is the loudest. The quiet majority, on the other hand, actually has a life.

Well the vocal "minority" as you say, has a major percentage of the vote on the web, as shown in the Google failure hit referral (i.e. I'm Feeling Lucky!) So is it really the minority, or just your way of wording something to make you sound like you are correct by eddifying your own viewpoints.

On a final note, yes, this is what forums are for, debates, chats, etc. However, you complain about people starting flame wars about politics, yet, you are the one starting it now. Realise this, this is "www.bullshit.com" a place to bullshit & to argue, about bullshit in this world.

Get over yourself.

Edit: Added some.

I'm completely lost, man. I think I agree with you, and I think the point of my last post was completely lost on you.

The original poster mentioned how he's "sick and tired of people bashing Bush". I'm sick and tired of people using forums that have nothing to do with politics (NOT THIS ONE!) to post profanities about the man. This board, fortunately, hasn't been infected yet. This has everything to do with politics, and should be in this section!

Those lonely 30 year olds that I referred to? I wasn't talking about you or anyone else on this board. I'm talking about the dipshits who feel the need to express their feelings about the war in Iraq on a news board about, say, the XBox 360. Spamming a board with nonsensical, partisan bullshit pisses me off.

YES!! Geez, man, read my post again! This constant Bush-bashing business is nonsense, just like the original poster said.

Calm down!

First off, you are a selfish little prick. Now let me tell you why, you don't care about the war. So you don't care about people dieing whether they be American of Iraqi or any other nationality becuase frankly I think you should. If you will imagine this, your brother, sister, or anyone in your family is over seas fighting for President Bush's war, that might I remind you he started without congress' approval, say that this person gets killed how would you feel about the war? Frankly I'd be more pissed then I am now becuase we as a nation are devoting more of our time, soldiers, and effort into a country that supposedly has nuclear weapons (in case you missed it they don't) instead of fighting overal terrorism and finding Bin Ladin. And just maybe in case you didn't pick this up this war basically happened about 14 years ago. Also this war was "over" about 2 years ago but more soldiers and innocent people are being killed then when the war was actually happening.

I especially love all the dipshit angsty emo 15-year olds that think they'd make a better president than Bush. I'd love to see how much more they could fuck up an already fucked up country. I'm 13 and I really don't think I could make a better president then Bush but I think that maybe on a few occasions i could have made better decisions then him. On that same note of being 13 I am getting the feeling that you are indirectly calling me a politically incorrect dipshit dumbass. Well for your infromation I am not any of those things, don't get me wrong I may be wrong on occasion about politics but if I am i correct myself. And the reason I believe I am not politacally incorect is because my family and I have political discussions almost every night and we discuss both veiws on all topics and the pros and cons to these veiws. On another note you have to be 35 to become president so your plan won't work.

And since you seem kind of slow, allow me to point out that I'm being sarcastic.

Really? Political standpoint is not something that both spouses need to agree on. My parents have always voted against each other and always get mail from both parties; Democrat for my mom and Republican to my dad. The only thing that they needed to agree on was to raise the children via a specific religion. My mom was Lutheran and my dad Catholic and we were raised Catholic. My mom would always attend the masses with us, but still to this day claims Lutheran.

Oddly I hear a lot of people blamed for singlehandedly racking up a 9 trillion dollar debt, including Bush himself. But to clear up, it is not a debt, it is a deficit. And a deficit is not as bad as it sounds. You see, other countries can't really do anything with American money, so eventually it gets invested back in America (partially why countries have their own currency). It would be better if we didn't have the deficit, but it's not the end of the world either. That said, an amount of money that if I were to type a zero for each dollar I wouldn't have room on my HDD for the file, well that's not bad but not exactly good either.

That's right, anyone! We could even blame you for the debt! The blame may not be well placed, but it is really not well placed on any one person. Maybe you would have been better off saying "the man we can blame for pushing us past the 9 trillion dollar ladmark" or "the man we can blame for a few billion of our already oversized debt." But even this wouldn't be completely accurate because he is not making these decisions on his own. In the long run, who cares how big our debt is? As long as it's not hurting me in any significant manner I couldn't care less if our natonal debt was a trillion times what it is! It just affords to make our country a better place than any other!

With all the taxes the government charges on the (some number here) people who live in America, the debt should be covered in less than a year... so... just blame me.
Done, this dude is at fault ^.

China is actually the country that owns the majority of our debt. Thats right out of everyone, we own china the most. China doesn't really like us too much either... niether does korea. Both countries have nuclear weapons, and leaders crazy enough to use them. Bush has spent too much money, and with the wrong fucking people. I'm usually a supporter of him, but not when hes spending this much. Oh, and as for katrina, it was actually the fastest aid program as to date in the U.S. So why does everyone think bush hates black people? Because they generally live towards the center and far side of new orleans, they had to work thier way to them. Trust me, i know people that were there, and it wasnt bush who was rescuing every single person, it was the national gaurd... So maybe they hate black people. I dont know, but i am pretty tired of the race card... Thier is alot of rascism, hell i get it because my best friend is black, which makes me a "nigger lover", but people would rather fight about stupid little things and encourage people to lie to get money. Fucking corrupt bastards. Please dont believe every thing the media tells you. You know what you should do??? READ THE FUCKING CONSTITUTION(thats why were protecting it right?) AND THINK FOR YOURSELF!!! watch both fox news and cbs or cnn or abc (conservative vs. liberal) get the facts from the middle(a little of what both say) and thats probably the closest to the truth your going to get... Bush may not be the best president we've ever had, but hes not a fucking terrorist. Use some common sense. and since when cant i smoke in a fucking bar???

We would be better off if he was playing with his dick , instead of playing world leader, I don't think he understands there are no do-overs.

But I digress...

wait, but he can't make abortion illegal, unless he passes a constitutional ammendment, which is a last resort. and i dont know who elected him based on abortion besides you

Most people elected him based on abortion, because he doesn't have any other redeeming qualities.

You wouldn't necessarily have to make a Constitutional amendment if you can prove the Constitution says abortion is wrong or at least doesn't say it's right. Since the Constitution says "life" is an inalienable human right, I would say it already says abortion is wrong.

Most people elected him based on abortion . . .

You shouldn't speak for other people. Especially people who you don't share views with.

What other reason would anyone vote for him for?

I don't like dropping into a discussion that I haven't read all of. And right now I don't have time to read everything here. I will be back on later but for now I will say that I generally supported Bush during both elections. I support efforts over seas to eradicate any organization who aims to do harm to the US. Even though I supported him, I believe if he had run against anyone other than Kerry he would have lost the election. And for the record I do not share his views on abortion.

Sure, but I don't recall ever hearing anything good about nader either. It seems that we haven't had a good presidential candidate for as long as I've shown any interest in the subject.

I don't know what Nader the president would have done, but Nader the man is the reason we have seat-belts, collapsable steering colums , and safer gas tanks. He was a tireless advocate for consumer saftey and corperate responsibility. I am not sure on any of his foriegn policy postitions, other than he probably would have signed the Kyoto treaty.
