look, i don't mind you kids expressing yourselves...in fact, i encourage it, esp when it comes to world views, which happens to be more than macs and mandrake and star wars....good fuckin christ, you guys have completely hijacked this board with inane nonsense, and while i'm not going to censor or ban you guys or anything else like that, how about contributing more than the emo bullshit you constantly come up with?...i know you have more insight and intelligence than you're currently showing, but it seems almost like you kids are running some of the older members off...

Here's an idea for the little kiddies, Hitek; ask them to go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page and read something new and interesting.
Afterwords, come back and tell us all about it. Kind of like show and tell at school.
PS, how's the new job, Hitek?

i do agree, alot of the posts on this board by kids like me are retarded. i try and avoid this as much as possible by not posting on every new thread i come across unless i really connect to the topic.
and what can you say, the future of the world lays on my generations shoulders...too bad that most of my generation has pussy shoulders because they decide to stay on a computer all day instead of going and doing physical work like your guy's generation did.
following that topic, i think every teenager regardless of social status should have to go work on a ranch two summers of his/her life and get an idea of what the real world and what real work is.

When was the last time I did? Really? I haven't posted any "one sentence" threads at all...I don't complain about half the other stuff that goes on here, it's not like two months ago when I turboposted about everything...
Baron Somebody

Man, you know, I might as well say the same thing about you...all you have complained about is "us stupid kids" (which by the way you should really see the rest of the 17 below population), which is totally unimportant...the only reason it seems important is because Freak agrees...I mean, I agree with what you're saying, but I think you are directing it to the wrong people, I mean come on...I swear, there are teenagers who don't know who Al Gore is!!! Am I one of them? No, I'm not, otherwise I probably wouldn't have ever found this forum...besides, if you were really better than us, you probably would have found a way to change the way things are...do you really remember the last time I posted about my personal problems? I haven't in about two months, I mean I might post horribly disturbing dreams (which is fine as long as it's in the Landfill section) or maybe I might a health question, but that's about it...I don't post about Macs either do I?
Also, I treat it like a tool to go into another dimension...kinda like how Navajo Indians used peyote and such

I agree we could do without pointless threads, but kids will always act somewhat stupid, America isn't going to shit because of them.
Even in the movie 12 Angry Men #10 says: "Kids these days, you can't trust 'em with anything!"

I usually have periods of feast and famine.
If I actually have a bedside lamp and plenty of books around I steam through them.
At the moment though, no bedside lamp and no books so I try watching documentaries.

Try going to the library and just grabbing any book you find. Go for the smaller ones first to speed up your reading then go for the harder ones. I'm aiming for Kennedy speed.
