This actually relates to my own religion, Xecenism, but, basically, my argument against Abortion is the "vitality clause" which basically says "any lifeform could be vital to the timestream"
In an analogy, any lifeform up for abortion could be the next Nikola Telsa or Thomas Edison, to even the next George Washington or Thomas Paine.
But what about rape and incest?
In this case, you have the "morality over vitality" clause which basically says "if a child in conceived on unmoral grounds, vitality can go to hell."
The vitality clause is basically a service to the state (and please note that when I refer to the state, I am referring to those living in the state, not the government) and the morality over vitality clause is a protection against crimes against the individual.
That's just my view.

i have never heard of such a thing. So i wll refrain any opinions on it.
the rest of your post is ripe for rebuke and here it is, population booms always involve either war or servitude. if you are thinking of the good of mankind, i believe we would be better off with fewer people. In the western world and south merica there is a surplus of people.
No company will hire a human if a machine can take his job. This will not change except to get worse. These companies do not for one minute consider who is going to buy their product, they look at their costs. Perhaps they are waiting for the day when a robot owns a checkbook and debit card, nevertheless, these are the facts.
Perhaps the answer is the Chinese one child policy. Money first last and always is the rule and no political rhetoric from the wonder boy Obama is ever going to change that.
I am 48, male and childless. All my female partners had little or no desire to change that. At this stage, i will probably remain so since there seems to be no use.

Exactly. This topic has been beaten into the mud many times.
If that's the only argument you have for me, I have advice for anyone who ISN'T planning on having a child at the moment.
