And then there's Safari 4 from Apple whose XP version may or may not be shit, but at least looks like shit:

Yeah, I'm not afraid to criticize Apple if I don't like what they are doing.

That's how I feel EVERY time I use Vista. The only way to make that thing less of a fucking piece of shit that doesn't goddamn work is by deleting everything that differentiates it from XP.

Dude, the only FAINT reason I see to upgrade to Vista is aero, and none of our computers support it.
Vista - Aero = shit
Vista + Aero = shit with nice effects

Vista is already shit because of all the utterly useless services running in the background that 95% of all Vista users are NEVER going to use. Once you turn these off, you basically have Windows XP.
But Aero is one of the worst offenders when it comes to bloatware. Leaving that on is like running Super Pi on your computer 24/7. If you want something prettier, there are plenty of programs that will reproduce that effect without using any of Windows' retarded as fuck services.

Yea, this is also true.
What really pisses me off about Vista is if your video card doesn't support Aero, you get a theme which looks like a combination of shit, piss, vomit, and nasal mucus.

Or you could just turn themes off altogether and stick with Windows Standard, which is less curvy and pretty but also a lot more space efficient. Given the same volume, you can stack more boxes in a confined space than you can balloons or tires.

Or you could just figure out that by setting it up that way it's essentially XP, only slower.

That's what I've been saying the whole time. The only difference between Vista and XP once you turn off all the unnecessary services, is that Vista's annoying bullshit always finds a way to poke its way through anyway.
I also like how they changed "My Computer" to "Computer". At least the people at Microsoft are starting to be a little more honest about who really wears the pants in this business-client relationship. That's just for those who didn't notice the clause in the EULA that states "you agree to willingly serve the Antichrist upon his return".
Windows Vista is complete shit, or else it wouldn't be the case that making it better is logically equivalent to making it more like XP.
XP is still the best choice around.

Absolutely. I don't have time to waste my resources on my business by going Vista only to find out I need to retract to XP after too many issues.

I know. Personally, I think Vista was born when a whale took a hundred year nap on a bed of molasses.
But XP isn't the best choice for everyone; it depends on what you want in a computer.
For those who want easy as shit with a hell of a lot of cool effects, Mac OS X would be better.
For those who actually know (or in my case aren't too lazy to use their skills) what the hell they're doing and need a basic interface anywhere up to Compiz which totally wipes the fucking floor with Mac OS X's effects, Linux would be a much better choice.

I bet that was fun to make! Sony has pretty much always been a piece of shit. I got one of their DVD recorders last year and it doesn't even play most DVDs right.
