He did run, but he didn't end up in the primaries. Or something like that, I'm not sure.

But I don't agree with him. The only thing that could possibly have a remote chance of saving the United States would be to fully reinstate the gold standard, but no Democrat or Republican since WW has been willing to do this even in the slightest.
Maybe he that was one of his campaign promises, I'm not sure, I think Ron Paul was the only one but I could be wrong.
