Frog (Frog's Legs actually and they really DO taste like Chicken)

Turtle (Turtle soup actually. It tastes like turtle! :D)

Sea Urchin. Challenging sushi for most. I liked it. Needs to be VERY fresh or it tastes very rancid. Have it spoiled ONCE and you'll NEVER eat it again! :eek:

Salmon Roe (salmon eggs). Not unusual to some, but I love them. Good source of protein, not salty like caviar, and very rich in omega 3
best when eaten with some wild rice.

Qual Eggs (raw) on sushi. Yummi. Delicate taste.

Buffalo. Leaner than beef. More gamy tasting.

Hmm I haven't had that many really.

Tried stuffed pigeon, tasted good enough but not nearly enough meat on it.

Goat, but that was the heart and It was quite a long time ago, didn't really like it.

Tried ostrich, but me and my old man managed to overcook it so I don't really recall anything remarkable about it, i'll have to try it again some time.

I may very well have had buffalo, as it is often sold alongside beef in certain parts.

I heard about a restaurant in south africa where you can have pretty much any game animal including zebra and wildebeast etc. Would like to go there someday.

I'm a huge dog lover. I'd never eat dog given our CULTURAL and my PERSONAL love of the dog. I treat them as part of my family. I'd not eat family. :D

However, if this were not so, and if dog was delicious, why not. Anything is possible. Stranded mountaineers whom had dogs with them ate their dogs to survive. Hard decision, but understandable.

Many Indians are aghast that we eat COW (their sacred animal) as a culture. "HOLY COW"! :D
