Are there any modern operating systems that are NOT either UNIX-like or WindowsNT?

I mean, to extrapolate on it, Windows obviously uses the NT kernel. Linux, Darwin/OS X, BSD, SCO, Solaris, and MINIX (if it even exists anymore) are all UNIX-like.

Other UNIX-like operating systems which don't exactly exist anymore include UNIX itself and Plan 9.

Pretty much the only thing NOT UNIX is DOS from the 80's which really isn't a modern operating system, as well as BeOS which no longer exists.

ReactOS
it is not unix-like, but has a linux philosophy
and it is not windows NT but is still based on windows
its more like windows' illegitimate half brother...

Debian GNU/Linux, kind of... I read it was somewhere.. but it started a hell long time ago in the 90s. One of the first linuxes, I think.
Windowze Vistas (slow as hell, only good for DX10)
Mac OS X Leopard...

Linux Mint (www.linuxmint.com) is kinda new. I dualboot it with windows XP that I only use to play halo and irrLicht (game making thing) and when I'm too lazy to boot back to Linux.
I hate windows 'cause I'm used to hacking my system. I like changing stuff to what I want. And there are alot more reasons... Basically it "puts walls on you". But linux is still kinda for people who like to hijack stuff...
Linux is a UNIX-like kernel.

When I said "WindowsNT" I was referring to the Windows NT Kernel, not the operating system. ReactOS would actually fit under that. The startup of it usually says it's using an NT Kernel, though it's actually a rewrite of it.

My other post was only unix and NT-based OSes because when I clicked the damn shit didn't bring me to the first post, so I didn't read it

Now that is one operating system I haven't heard of in a while. I forgot it existed really!

How the hell did you find it?

Google. Was trying to look for another one I knew of but for gaming. Typed assembly operating system.

Awesomeness. I think I found it looking for "GUI on a floppy" or some shit like that.

BeOS was UNIX-compatible

UNIX-compatible or UNIX-like?

It could run some UNIX apps. Heck even vista ultimate can run UNIX apps.

That just means it has a POSIX subsystem.
