Gas prices are high because hippy liberal douchbag enviornmentalists make it so we have to rely on other contries for oil. I guess somehow it's more enviornmentally friendly to ship the crap over miles and miles of ocean instead of just digging it up right here at home and taking it directly to a refinery.

the american people have to take some of the responsibility on this one ! every time the news reports say,,that possibly there will be a gas shortage or gas prices are going to rise,,all the idiots come out of the woodwork and have to run to the pumps to fill their gas guzzlers,and really i laugh my ass off!. i mean really ,,,,,what is an extra 20 or 30 gallons of gas to help ? i see this time and time again,when you know damn well the drive to work will eat the gas you just bought in 2 days, people are slobs,,and lets face it, alot of americans subscribe to the old addage " i didn't even want ,it, till i was told i couldn't have ,it, . i drive a suburban also,,,i just don't feel the need to fill it every other goddamn day!!!!!!!!!
