I love Richard Dawkin's mind. He is one of the best philosophers of this day.

Believe it or not I had his thought before he wrote it. A girl once came into the pet shop where I worked and asked me "What is the meaning of Life?" She was high (stoned probably) and I said "To reproduce." the essence of the selfish gene ... To propagate itself. Now the deeper question is why it is necessary for the gene to do so. Dawkins touches on this.

His book was full of logic and reason. It’s a totally fantastic read.

Why don’t you start your own thread? This one was ... (past tense now) for "The Selfish Gene"

Usually when people suggest books they elaborate a little. Like: This was good, Literary allusions and Main ideas.
