just got home from the tea party that was held today
in Brookville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania
met Abraham Lincoln , met a vet from iraq and afgahnistan
and the gentlemen who pulled it together Ben Carrier
i was especially proud today to be a American.
of a small town of 4,000 the number role of signatures
1,076 that to me speaks volumes
the speakers today spoke of our freedoms of our responability
as citizens to stand and be heard
do not allow the government to continue this madness
the veteran from iraq sitting in the rain in a wheelchair
spoke of his oath to the constitution to protect it from all enemies
foreign and domestic
the senators and president and judges are our enemy
with the way that they are acting.
when he was done speaking , i had tears running down my face
and in the area that i could see the people were the same.
i am thankful and glad that i pulled my kids from school
and took them to see and hear this

Definitely. I wonder how many Tea Parties are going to mention Obama's treatment of wounded vets? Probably all of them.

they are only 11 so some of the things that were discussed
is still over their head.
but my son asked some good questions
for example: what do they mean that we as americans must earn
our freedoms
and i told him that freedom is not free
it was bought by blood, sweat and tears of countless americans
who came before us
and that every american has a duty in some way to
continue to pay that price
by joining the military, run for office, forming grassroots organizations
vote, hold your represenative to the fire
and countless of other things that furthers the pursuit of freedom and happiness

Lucky you. My parents are FAILibs. They don't support welfare but yet, they vote for people who are going to take their money and give it to lazy fat fucks who don't want to work and never plan to. And no, I am NOT talking about Congress here.

he did not like the way that gov. was growing
before i could say anything he said to me

I know, but it's good that the liberals are seeing what is going on. That they are also going to be losing their constitutional rights.
