well on December 8th the world mourned the loss of 2 very important musical icons. first off there was John Lennon ( R.I.P. ) although he was kind of a hippie he was also a good humanitarian and before his time.
the second in which i speak of hits closer to home to me, Pantera / Damageplan guitarist Dimebag Darrel Abbot. Dime was taken before his time by some gutless jackass with a gun. Dime was a guitarist who helped shape a small part of my guitar playing. And when I had the oppertunity to meet him, he was a very humble person, that meeting i will take to my grave and never forget. Rest In Peace Dime, you will never be forgotten and thanks for sharing your life with the rest of the world. you are missed!

Yea, sucks that he died last year. I remember reading about the lunatic, he shot straight for Dimebag.
DD will be missed.

I think it's worse that someone actually shot someone in public that wasn't a terrorist...
I get chills from that...

Not where I come from though.
But there might be considering there is racism between lebanese and aussies starting up again. :(
I hate it when people waste their lives for a piece of pride.
sucks to be you

It still bugs me when I watch a video or live footage cause watching him in action still kicks ass then I always remeber in back of my head that I'm not going to get that chance save for old footage. It was such a pointless thing to have happened.

You know, the funny thing is, I hated them at first... but Vulgar Display of Power was so awesome I got addicted... Then they started having trouble a few years later and all went separate ways, mostly Phil was fucking shit up for them too badly...

You have to see some of the interviews with Phil now. He's a fucking retard now. He's totally burned out. Like on the VH1 behind the music thing for Pantera, he says some truly stupid shit. Some of it's actually pretty funny.

I heard that he was going to appear at Dimebag's funeral and somebody told him if he did she would put a bullet in his head. Don't blame her, the band would have stayed together if it wasn't for his reckless stupidity.

Oh defiantly. The whole fucking break up was Phil's fault. Oh, that was Dime's chick who said that.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if it was his girlfriend or sister or something...
Any favorite album or tracks in particular? Mine would probably be either Floods, Mouth For War, or This Love... best album was Vulgar.
