Your little sister would rather watch Little People: Christmas Discoveries and the Bob the Builder holiday special than Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. She also has refused to watch Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph's Shiny New Year, Micky's Christmas Carol, The Little Drummer Boy, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and the Charlie Brown Christmas special...

I never had a choice. I watched what my parents wanted to watch. When Rudloph the Red-Nosed Reindeer came on TV, that's what we watched. I had little say in the matter.
I can't blame your little sister. When you've only seen snippets of it, the claymation of Rudolph looks pretty lame and that bland, slow animation in Charlie Brown ain't much to look at. It's just one of those things she'll have to live with.

No kidding... maybe we can look forward to future masterwork citations such as: pppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp pppppppppppp
and the all time classic: vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv vvvvvvvvvv

Well then, I think this generation misses the whole point. Its the stories that matter here kids, not the method in which its animated. Its like people who can't sit through a show unless there big explosions every 10 minutes cuz its boring. The old holiday shows are still great!

I used to love those TV specials, had them all on Tape. Eventually grew tired of the shows, and learned to hate Christmas.

I think bullshit cartoons like "Dora the Explorer", "Bob the Builder," and all those other bullshit baby's cartoons are an infection to society. Our children will grow up to be better people without all that shit.
Not to mention they won't beg you for every little POS toy out there that has [insert asinine bullshit cartoon here]'s name on it.

When I was a kid I watched Wishbone instead of Blue's clues. Wishbone is better. Blue's clues is a show that pretends to teach kids observation skills, but really doesn't seeing as how even my dog actually noticed the blues pawprints without help(I shit you not.). Wishbone is a show that actually teaches kids useful things like history.
I compared those two in particular, because they are both about dogs.

I remember Wishbone. That dog was always playing one role or another. I think I learned a few things from that show.

wow, that sucks, my 8 year old sister (her birthday was yesterday) owns all of those classics except for drummer boy, and only because she hasnt been able to find it. surprisingly she really likes those moves, and every year we gather `round our flaming trashcan, turn on the tv, and watch those classics.
(the trash can bit was a joke, in case you were to ignorant to notice.)
