The smart thing to do would have been to start firing mortars...oh wait, we can follow the rounds to the source. Then RPGs, oh wait, we can destroy their firing positions with artillery and SMAW teams. Then, suicide bombers, oh wait, we can shoot them first with the .50s :D

Yeah, it's easier to just kill yourself by shooting a tank with an AK. 30 seconds later you'll be killed by a bomb from one of the roaming F-16s or F-18s in the area.
