The ViewSonic (computer monitor) is 19.5 inches and the Sharp Aquos is just under 46.5 inches. http://forum.bullshit.com/images/icons/icon14.gif I have to move a few things around in my front room for the Aquos, I have it sitting where it is for now. I took my other 17 inch LCD and hooked it up to my second computer. I'm going to give away my CRT TV (that was in my front room) and the 17 inch CRT computer monitor to a friend.

We have a 70" LCD rear projection as a TV, but I don't have a monitor nearly that big. Do you use it for movies a lot?

70 inch, wow, way cool! :D How do you like it? They have come out with some great looking rear projection flat screens lately. I was thinking about getting one when I was shopping for the Sharp.

Yeah, I use mine mostly for DVD's (other than a few things like the History Channel and one or two more cable channels, most of TV is a mindless wasteland). With a killer sound system (5.1 Surround Sound) I use it's just like being in a theater. I'm thinking about getting a Bru-Ray player, but that will not be for a year or so as the prices drop. They hooked one up to our Sharp LCD just before we bought it to see how it would look. It looked AWESOME! Very clear and awesome sound! http://forum.bullshit.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

Actually I misspoke, it's only 50". The 70" was the top of the line, so I forgot. It's still really big though, so we like it. :D

A 50" will do just fine! :D What kind of sound system? We run a 1 Bit Sharp 6 channel 5.1 Surround Sound System. The damn thing is major overkill :eek::D!!

We also have 5.1 surround, with Klipsch speakers. I think the receiver is a Pioneer but I forget. It's a great system and probably also overkill. :D

Way cool, man...we run a pair of Yamaha Studio Monitors, also the speakers that came in the set, with two BSR monitors and the standard subwoofer. Basically I have no reason to go to a theater. :D I hate the smell of popcorn breath. Our receiver/amp/DVD Player is a SD-AT50 using 1 Bit technology...
