Bosnia buries Srebrenica victims

The massacre took place despite the area being declared a UN safe haven

The remains of 534 newly identified Bosniak Muslim victims of the Srebrenica massacre have been buried 14 years after the event. Some 8,000 Bosniak Muslims, mainly men and boys, were killed by Bosnian Serbs near the town of Srebrenica in 1995 and buried in mass graves. About 5,000 of the victims have been identified to date. Thousands of mourners attended the ceremony, an annual reminder of the Bosniak Muslims' suffering in the war. At the Potocari memorial cemetery just outside Srebrenica, in eastern Bosnia, victims' names were read out as coffins wrapped in green cloth were passed through the crowd.

It was horrible....they would just line the victims up at gunpoint and kill them by smashing them on the head medieval style with a huge mallet (to save bullets).

I visited Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia earlier this year. Even though I had a railpass that covered this area, the train tracks still hadn't been repaired and I had to bus everywhere. It was depressing to see all the abandoned Serb houses with bullet holes in them along some of the most natural beauty I've ever seen.

The first shots of the war happened here. The area is still laced with landmines, and you're instructed not to leave the trails.

just like brittish influience in south africa .and there influance in the tutie huto fight.then lit them fight..there was a party that stirred the pot in bos and serb....guess who stirred the pot there to create war and who do you think gained from all that.......3 guesses the first 2 don't count...[because of what i do in the refineries i work with people from all over the world]
