Got a hypothesis here: I think buying sodas in bottles instead of cans actually reduces the amount of sodas you drink on a regular basis. And I think it's because you have to actually go through the effort of getting a glass, filling it with ice, and pouring it. So with the same amount of effort you could pour a glass of water, tea, cranberry juice, V8, or some better-for-you alternative That simple? It's been happening since we started.

Pure-dee laziness theory... coke cans are so convenient that when you feel lazy you drink more of them.

You could just drink out of the bottle.

Yeah, that's a variable to consider if you live alone or are the only one that drinks a certain drink (most family members frown on it if they are also drinking it). Even so, once you open a can, there's this sort of mental rush to drink it all before it gets warm, whereas if you drank out of the bottle you probably would just wet your whistler and put the bottle back.

Now if you can drink a 2-liter bottle of coke before it gets warm... damn... now that's crazy.

Nothing. Those days are gone. I drink beer about once a week and that's plenty. I work days now and this job's giving me enough of a headache as it is. :(
