Beer is cheaper than the therapy it seems... no, man, my binge drinking is creating too many problems, but I get so fucking aggravated I can't help myself.

Two week summary:
Sewer system failed, had to replace the whole thing, plumber cut the gas line, gas company had to remove it, so we were without gas and hot water.. then I lost my job, then last night I was cleaning out the air conditioner and water seeped into a plug and knocked the circuit out while I was waiting on it to dry, let's see... the coolant system in the car is failing, I had to get a new plumbing system for my washer/dryer, the credit card companies are hounding me to death and I can't afford to pay an attorney to file bankruptcy, my mother-in-law got beat up by her husband and she's staying here while she's trying to get a divorce and watching all this crap happen on a regular basis...

God dang, it made me thirsty for a beer just typing all of that.... sort of, but I'm not doing it tonight. No way.

I try to stay positive, but there is a lot of fucked up shit in the world and in my own life. My wife has been very successful as a teacher, making English department head in just one year. It may sound silly, but having all these money problems and having trouble keeping steady work makes me feel like I don't wear the pants in the family anymore. Tough times will pass, hopefully, but resorting to drinking myself to oblivion is becoming too much of a habit. It seems like every day when I wake up first thought is why am I here. I take medicine for it, but I don't think in the grand scheme of things it's doing much for my hardcore depression.

You have the right idea on how to deal with it though, focus on all the good things you have and don't dwell on the negatives all the time. If you focus on all the bad shit all the time, of course you are going to feel depressed.

Yeah times have changed a lot since the good ole days of the "breadwinner" and the "homemaker".. I just have held so firmly the idea that you are the one in control of your own life, but this economy has been so fucked up, with so much outsourcing, so many failures, so many stimili... etc... it's hard to feel in control anymore.

And rather than listen to my reasoning for removing it, he chose to go apeshit and tell everyone in the world but Santa Claus that we're censoring him entirely because he's a liberal. That was basically the straw that broke the camel's back.

We were cordial enough to give the guy a second chance, and to go ahead and cry "look at what they're doing to me!" was really uncalled for. Frankly, we've had enough.

And let me clear something else up for you... nobody has the fucking "right" to post on this forum. This forum is hosted on a privately owned server, and the owner of that server doesn't have to let anyone connect to it if he doesn't want them to, nor does he have to host their opinions if he doesn't want to. This website is someone's private property... nobody has the "right" to use it.
