View Full Version : A Gathering Storm (FINALLY!)

this is for any who are into the fantasy series "The Wheel of Time"...
my daughter woke me up to present me with this long awaited book...about 4 years of waiting, to be exact...first off, i'ld say that the new author, Brandon Sanderson did an exemplary job, not trying to write in Jordan's style, yet keeping the rythem of the story...i've been following this series since before the birth of my daughter, a little over 18 years in the making...yes, it's that damned good, and addictive as fuck once you start...i devoured this book (750 pages or so) in a little over 2 days, then reread it taking my time...it's good, and i won't spoil it for anybody, but let me say that i hope to god i don't have to wait another four years for the next one....check it out, folks...it's damned good :cool:

I'll give it a read, My daughter has me reading new moon as of now.. the twilight series.. the twins are crazy over that shit!:rolleyes:

Two days to read 750 pages, wow that's good. It took me three weeks to read 800 pages. You must be well read.

i generally read at a good pace...i devour roughly 1000-1500 pages on a weekly basis...much of it material i've already read...i've found books to be like an old friend...gets better with every visit :cool:
