Just about 7 1/2 years ago, Layne Staley died. The summer of that year was when I saw who is now the new vocalist perform "Down in a Hole" live (sounded just like him)... and damned if they didn't put out a CD this year. Fuckin' awesome sound! :cool:

I saw them live about 8 years ago when Jerry Cantrell was doing his own thing. Everyone keeps ripping on W. Duvall, but if you ask me, he's actually better than Layne's shaky vocals were through most of their 90's heyday.
